This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**The MLS Coach of the Year market remains tightly bunched near the top because the 2026 season has featured no runaway favorite through mid-August, with several clubs delivering strong early results amid roster turnover and new leadership.** Jesper Sørensen earns the slight edge after extending his Vancouver Whitecaps deal following a strong prior campaign that included deep playoff and continental runs, while Real Salt Lake’s Pablo Mastroeni and other mid-table or climbing sides keep pressure on frontrunners through consistent points accumulation and tactical adjustments. Multiple 2026 coaching changes, including early-season dismissals and interim-to-permanent shifts, plus competitive depth across the Eastern and Western Conferences, have prevented any single candidate from separating. Traders price the field this way because historical precedents show late surges or Supporters’ Shield pushes can quickly reorder the race, and current table positioning alone has not produced a consensus leader.
