The 2026 MotoGP title fight remains exceptionally tight after 12 of 22 rounds, with Jorge Martin holding a narrow lead on the Aprilia RS-GP26 ahead of Marco Bezzecchi, Ai Ogura, Marc Marquez, and Fabio Di Giannantonio—all separated by roughly 40 points. Multiple winners across the season, strong Aprilia pace in recent grands prix including Silverstone, and ongoing bike development have kept several riders in realistic contention. Marquez continues to close ground on his favored circuits while others like Raul Fernandez and Pedro Acosta maintain pressure through consistent results. Late-season factors such as injuries, form swings, and the remaining schedule sustain broad trader consensus that no single rider has pulled decisively clear.
