**Early 2026 season results have kept the NCAA FBS passing touchdowns leader market tightly bunched, with multiple quarterbacks posting strong efficiency and volume through the first two or three games.** Jayden Maiava leads national passing yards and touchdowns at USC with a standout completion rate above 80 percent, while Darian Mensah at Miami and Kevin Jennings at SMU have combined for high touchdown totals and elite passer ratings in limited action. Transfers and returning starters such as Bear Bachmeier, Trinidad Chambliss, and others from varied conferences add depth, supported by favorable early matchups and offensive systems that emphasize the passing game. With the full schedule still ahead—including tougher conference play, potential injuries, and adjustments in usage—the wide distribution of implied probabilities reflects trader consensus on the absence of a clear frontrunner and the realistic paths for several contenders to surge.
