Multiple teams, including New Mexico, North Dakota State, and UNLV, sit in a narrow band of implied probabilities due to comparable returning production, roster depth, and coaching continuity. Recent spring and fall camp reports highlight balanced depth across the league, with several squads addressing key positions through the transfer portal and high school recruiting. Schedule strength and non-conference results will likely separate contenders, while historical patterns show frequent upsets and shared titles in recent years. This parity keeps the field wide open, with outcomes hinging on injury management, quarterback play, and late-season momentum.
