If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in passing touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NFL season remains in its opening weeks, leaving the passing touchdowns leader market tightly bunched as multiple quarterbacks post comparable early volume and efficiency. High-upside offenses featuring Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford, and Dak Prescott project for sustained attempts and red-zone opportunities, while dual-threat options like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson add rushing scores that dilute pure passing totals. Recent Week 1 results show Trevor Lawrence and others surging with multi-touchdown outings, but injuries to Kyler Murray and Sam Darnold plus ongoing evaluations for rookies and veterans introduce volatility. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no single signal emerging from schedule strength, offensive line health, or target distribution to separate frontrunners.
