This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Chicago Bears win the season series, this market will resolve to “Bears”. If the Detroit Lions win the season series, this market will resolve to “Lions”. If the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. Both the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions enter the 2026 season as evenly matched NFC North contenders with overlapping projected win totals near 10-11 games and comparable roster depth. Chicago benefits from second-year growth under head coach Ben Johnson and continued development from quarterback Caleb Williams, while Detroit looks to rebound from a 9-8 finish with an easier schedule and experienced core pieces intact. The two clubs split or traded close results in their most recent meetings, and neither holds a clear edge in division play or home/away splits. Training-camp position battles and injury updates across both rosters add further uncertainty, keeping implied probabilities for either team claiming the season series—or the two clubs splitting—clustered near even.
