Both the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars enter the 2026 NFL season with comparable roster depth and divisional uncertainty, producing tight trader consensus around a split or outright series win. The Colts return stability under coach Shane Steichen and GM Chris Ballard, with quarterback Daniel Jones recovering from injury as the clear starter, though analysts note lingering concerns about overall ceiling in a competitive AFC South. The Jaguars lean on a draft-heavy rebuild featuring edge rushers Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, plus young talent across the roster. Standard home-and-away scheduling in the rivalry, combined with limited preseason clarity on injuries or lineups, leaves little separation in implied probabilities for either club claiming the season series.
