This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from South Africa Premiership at the conclusion of the 2026-27 South Africa Premiership season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in South Africa Premiership for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 South Africa Premiership, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by South Africa Premiership. If the 2026-27 South Africa Premiership season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from South Africa Premiership. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Early-season form in the 2026–27 Betway Premiership highlights the vulnerability of newly promoted sides and perennial strugglers.** Kruger United, automatic promotion winners from the Motsepe Foundation Championship, sit near the bottom with just 4 points from 7 matches and have faced reported pre-season payment issues that disrupted preparations. Marumo Gallants (2 points from 6 games) and Richards Bay/Siwelele (both on 3 points from 7) occupy the lowest positions, while Chippa United remain winless. Milford FC, the other promotee via playoffs, have exceeded expectations in mid-table. The format—one automatic relegation plus a 15th-place playoff—means consistent results before the January window and international breaks will shape the battle, with historical patterns showing promoted clubs often facing immediate adaptation challenges against established PSL squads.
