BTS’s “Swim” leads VMA Song of the Year trader sentiment at 61% implied probability, driven by its dominant global streaming numbers, No. 2 ranking on Billboard’s 2026 Global Songs of Summer chart, and ARMY’s proven ability to mobilize fan votes in MTV’s social categories. The track from the group’s Arirang album also earned a Best K-Pop nod, reinforcing its crossover momentum ahead of the September 27 ceremony. Lower-priced contenders such as Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” (22.5%) and Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” (20.5%) trail despite solid streaming and genre-specific traction, while Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Bring Your Love” sits at 12% amid stiff competition from the K-pop frontrunner. With fan voting closing soon, recent chart updates and BTS’s live appearances continue to anchor the market’s consensus.
