George Pickens recently signed the Dallas Cowboys' $27.3 million franchise tag for the 2026 season after long-term extension talks stalled, locking in his immediate roster spot while leaving open the possibility of a midseason trade. This development anchors the leading implied probability for Dallas, yet the tight clustering across multiple contenders stems from unresolved trade rumors, the nonexclusive nature of the tag, and the wide receiver's strong 2025 production that has drawn interest leaguewide. Teams like the Dolphins, Falcons, and Saints sit close behind due to cap space, offensive needs, and historical landing patterns for productive pass catchers entering restricted free agency windows. Recent coaching and front-office statements confirming no immediate trade plans have stabilized Dallas' edge without eliminating upside for other clubs if the Cowboys pivot before training camp.
