Nick Hardt enters the Prague Challenger first-round matchup against local wildcard Jakub Filip as the clear favorite on outdoor red clay, backed by his ATP ranking near 277 and consistent Challenger-level experience. Filip, a 20-year-old Czech ranked outside the top 700 with a career high of 736, has primarily competed in ITF events and arrives with limited professional results. Hardt’s recent clay-court activity, including matches in Italy and South America, gives him an edge in match toughness and movement on the surface, while Filip benefits from home support and familiarity with Czech conditions. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect either player, and the contest remains a straightforward test of ranking disparity and recent form on slow clay.
