The 2026-27 Ligue 1 runner-up market reflects a wide-open chase behind Paris Saint-Germain’s dominant title position. Multiple clubs, from established sides like Marseille, Monaco, Lens, Lille, and Lyon to others with promotion pedigree or squad reinforcements, sit in a tight cluster because no single contender has pulled clear in pre-season form, transfers, or historical head-to-head trends. Recent signings across the league, schedule balance, and the absence of major confirmed injuries or managerial shifts keep implied probabilities bunched, as traders price in realistic paths for several teams to finish second through consistent European qualification pushes or strong home records. The wisdom of crowds here underscores the league’s typical depth below PSG rather than any standout favorite.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
