The Swiss Super League's runner-up race remains tightly bunched because the league features broad parity among mid-to-upper table sides, with no clear hierarchy beyond a narrow title favorite. Early 2026-27 results show Young Boys, Lugano, and St. Gallen posting strong starts, yet several clubs including Basel, Lausanne-Sport, and Servette possess comparable squad depth, recent European experience, and pre-season recruitment that keep second-place projections fluid. The split-format schedule and head-to-head volatility further compress probabilities, as small swings in form or key matches can reorder the championship group. Trader consensus reflects this balanced field rather than any single standout challenger.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
