Incumbent Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs maintains a consistent lead in general election polling against presumed Republican nominee U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, fueling trader consensus at 75.5% for a Democratic win in the November 2026 contest. Recent TIPP polling from late April showed Hobbs ahead 48%-38% (+10 margin), building on RCP averages of +5.4% across multiple surveys through April, amid undecided voters and Hobbs' incumbency edge in this swing state. Biggs dominates GOP primary polls ahead of the July 21 vote, bolstered by Trump endorsement, but rivals like Rep. David Schweikert face fundraising shortfalls. Recent Biggs ads targeting Hobbs on gas prices have not shifted trends, underscoring stable Democratic momentum.

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee of the party in question. Candidates other than the Democratic or Republican nominee (e.g., Greens, Libertarian, independent) may be added at a later date.
Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party.
The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race in this state for the same candidate, this market will resolve based on the official certification.
