West Indies secured the three-match T20I series 2-1 against Sri Lanka with a five-wicket victory in the June 14 decider at Sabina Park. After West Indies chased down 148 in the opener, Sri Lanka leveled the contest with a 37-run win in the second match behind half-centuries from Kusal Mendis and Dasun Shanaka. Alzarri Joseph’s five-wicket haul and late contributions from Sherfane Rutherford, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rovman Powell proved decisive in the finale. All matches occurred on the same Kingston venue with minimal rest between games, favoring teams with strong middle-order depth and death bowling. Trader consensus has reflected West Indies’ historical T20 edge at home and Sri Lanka’s recent series-leveling form before the final result shifted implied probabilities.
