**Recent polling in the open 2026 Georgia gubernatorial race shows a tight contest between Democratic nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms and Republican nominee Rick Jackson, with results clustered around 43-52% for the leader and minimal support for other candidates.** The nominees were finalized after June 2026 Republican and Democratic primaries and runoffs, leaving a standard two-candidate general election on November 3. Georgia law requires a majority for an outright win in the first round; otherwise a runoff follows between the top two. With third-party and undecided shares typically low in this polarized environment, traders assign a 93% implied probability that one candidate will clear 50%, reflecting the expectation that vote consolidation will produce a majority winner rather than a fragmented result. No major late developments have altered the structural dynamics that favor an outright outcome.
