This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total period of ineligibility imposed on Nick Kyrgios in the first sanction decision issued by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), or by an independent tribunal under the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme, in the anti-doping case concerning Nick Kyrgios’s positive test for cocaine (sample collected June 22, 2026; provisional suspension effective August 4, 2026) is less than 4 months (including a case that concludes with no period of ineligibility). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the period of ineligibility is expressed in days, one month will be considered equivalent to 30 days for the purposes of this market. The full stated period of ineligibility will be used, regardless of any backdating of its start date or credit for time served under provisional suspension. This market will resolve based on the first sanction decision issued in the case; subsequent appeals will not be considered. If no such decision is issued by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market group will resolve to "11+ months". The primary resolution source will be official information from the ITIA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total period of ineligibility imposed on Nick Kyrgios in the first sanction decision issued by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), or by an independent tribunal under the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme, in the anti-doping case concerning Nick Kyrgios’s positive test for cocaine (sample collected June 22, 2026; provisional suspension effective August 4, 2026) is 4 months (inclusive) up to 11 months (exclusive). Under ITIA rules for substances of abuse, an out-of-competition finding caps the ban at three months, while in-competition use or proven intent can trigger sanctions from several months to four years. The provisional suspension in place since August 4, combined with Kyrgios’s public admission of a “huge mistake” without an appeal filed yet, leaves the tribunal’s classification of timing and circumstances as the decisive variable. Recent injury-related career struggles add context but do not clarify the doping timeline.
