Historical patterns of league-wide parity, summer roster adjustments, and the absence of any dominant defensive outlier further compress expectations. Factors such as home/away splits, set-piece vulnerability, and mid-season fatigue will likely decide the final tally among Tokyo Verdy, Nagoya Grampus, FC Tokyo, Urawa Red Diamonds, and the group immediately behind them.
