**Multiple teams maintain closely matched defensive records midway through the 2026 K League 1 season, with roughly 10–11 clean sheets apiece after 23–24 matches played.** FC Seoul leads the table with the fewest goals conceded (19) and strong home shutouts, while Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Gangwon FC, and Bucheon FC 1995 sit within one or two clean sheets, supported by reliable goalkeeping from Song Bum-keun, Gu Sung-yun, and Park Chung-hyo. Recent August results, including Bucheon’s defensive improvements and Gangwon’s away form, have kept the group tightly bunched. With 10–12 matches remaining and no team holding a decisive edge in goals-against averages or consistency, trader consensus reflects the parity in defensive organization, fixture difficulty, and potential for late swings in clean-sheet totals.
