The Big Ten’s exceptional depth at wide receiver keeps the 2026 receiving yards race unusually competitive, with no single player commanding majority trader consensus. Jeremiah Smith enters as the clear preseason favorite after back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and early 2026 production of 315 yards in two games, yet Ohio State’s rebuilt supporting cast and tough schedule introduce variance. KJ Duff, Charlie Becker, Dakorien Moore, Collin Dixon, and several Marsh brothers offer proven volume and big-play ability across multiple high-output offenses. Early-season target shares, quarterback continuity, and injury resilience will determine separation, while the conference’s overall passing volume supports several realistic paths to the league lead.
