Incumbent Democratic Rep. Emilia Sykes holds a commanding position in Ohio's 13th congressional district heading into the November 3, 2026 general election. The district's boundaries, redrawn in October 2025, produced a D+2 partisan voting index that favors Democrats, building on Sykes' prior narrow victory. She faced no primary opposition, while Republicans selected Carey Coleman as their nominee in the May 5 primary. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing aligns with nonpartisan ratings that place the seat in the Lean or Likely Democratic category. Potential shifts could arise from national political waves, unusually high Republican turnout in the Akron-area district, or late developments that alter voter priorities before election day.
