**Incumbent Republican Mike Carey holds a strong position in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District heading into the November 3, 2026 general election.** The district carries an R+5 Partisan Voter Index, reflecting consistent Republican advantages in recent presidential and congressional voting, including a roughly 10-point Trump margin under current lines. Carey advanced unopposed through the May 2026 Republican primary, while Democrat Don Leonard narrowly won his party’s primary over Adam Miller. Forecasters including the Cook Political Report (Likely Republican), Inside Elections (Solid Republican), and Sabato’s Crystal Ball (Safe Republican) all place the seat in the Republican column. Carey’s substantial fundraising edge and the district’s suburban and rural makeup in the Columbus area further support the market’s 80.5% Republican consensus. Leonard’s campaign has drawn limited outside investment, and no late developments have altered the structural Republican lean since the primaries concluded three months ago. The race remains subject to national midterm dynamics closer to Election Day.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
