Democratic nominee Bob Brooks, president of the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association, faces Republican incumbent Ryan Mackenzie in Pennsylvania's 7th congressional district for the November 3, 2026 general election. The district, which Donald Trump carried by three points in 2024, remains one of the more competitive House seats. Brooks secured the Democratic nomination in the May 19 primary with strong labor support across the district's counties. Traders assign the Democratic Party a 76% implied probability of winning, reflecting consensus on Brooks' working-class profile and union backing in this battleground area, while the Republican holds a 24.5% share amid the narrow partisan lean and ongoing campaign dynamics.
