The 2026 NFL season's scrimmage yards race remains tightly bunched early on, with multiple running backs and wide receivers holding comparable implied probabilities around 50% due to similar projected workloads in pass-heavy and run-balanced offenses. Key factors include preseason usage trends, target shares, and backfield committees that limit any single player's volume, alongside injury risks and quarterback stability that can shift opportunities quickly. Depth across teams like those featuring Kenneth Walker III, Kyren Williams, CeeDee Lamb, and Ja'Marr Chase creates a crowded field where small edges in schedule strength or offensive line play keep the leaderboard fluid through the first several weeks. Trader consensus reflects this parity rather than any dominant frontrunner.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more scrimmage touchdowns (rushing touchdowns plus receiving touchdowns) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of scrimmage yards per touch (scrimmage yards divided by the sum of rushing attempts and receptions) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other".
If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in scrimmage yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
