The closely bunched probabilities around 45-50% for numerous forwards and defensemen reflect the unpredictable distribution of assists in a short best-of-seven Stanley Cup Finals series. Balanced offensive depth on contending rosters, including playmakers like Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, Mitch Marner, Sebastian Aho, and Shea Theodore, combined with even special-teams usage and line matchups, prevents any single player from establishing a clear edge. Recent regular-season and playoff form shows consistent secondary scoring across both clubs, while factors such as power-play opportunities, defensive-zone starts, and potential injuries introduce further variance that sustains the tight market consensus.
