Recent polling indicates a reversal among Latino men, who favored Republicans in the 2024 presidential contest but now show Democratic preferences of roughly 20 points in generic congressional ballots. Economic pressures including inflation, housing costs, and everyday expenses have overtaken immigration as the dominant concern, coinciding with declining approval ratings for the Trump administration among this group. Multiple surveys from mid-2026, including those tracking 2024 Trump voters, reflect growing regret and openness to Democratic candidates in competitive districts. These shifts align with broader Hispanic registered voter trends favoring Democrats by double digits in House races, though sizable undecided segments and variable turnout patterns sustain uncertainty ahead of November. Trader consensus reflects these polling movements and issue salience as the primary drivers.
