Incumbent Republican Scott Fitzgerald faces Democrat Andrew Beck in Wisconsin’s 5th congressional district on November 3, 2026. The district’s R+11 Partisan Voter Index and 14.5-point Trump margin in 2024 underpin the Republican advantage, reinforced by Fitzgerald’s reelection history and unopposed primary advancement alongside Beck. Nonpartisan forecasters rate the seat Solid or Safe Republican, with models projecting a roughly 30-point GOP margin based on fundamentals and limited polling. Trader consensus reflected in current odds aligns with these structural factors, though late-cycle national shifts, turnout surges, or candidate-specific developments could narrow the gap before Election Day.
