Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick’s recent comments have anchored trader sentiment around standard AAA pricing for Grand Theft Auto VI, guiding expectations toward a $70–$80 launch window that aligns with current industry norms and avoids premium upsells. His emphasis on delivering perceived value without making consumers feel overcharged has reinforced the market’s strong lean toward a sub-$100 standard edition, especially as pre-order leaks and retailer signals converge on familiar price points. While the game’s massive development budget and Rockstar’s history of innovative monetization leave room for surprise bundles or collector editions, analysts note that crossing the $100 threshold would mark a notable departure from recent releases and risk backlash in a competitive gaming landscape. The next earnings update could provide further clarity ahead of the anticipated 2026 launch.
