Valve's late-April 2026 update added the reworked Cache to CS2's Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retakes modes, immediately shifting trader focus toward an imminent Premier map-pool debut. Official patch notes and developer comments strongly signaled rotation into the active duty pool once the current major cycle ends, with speculation centering on which map—likely Mirage, Inferno, or Vertigo—would be dropped to maintain the standard seven-map roster. Community workshop feedback and pro-scene testing have highlighted Cache's balanced layout and updated Source 2 visuals as ready for high-level play, while Valve's history of gradual map integrations supports expectations of a quick transition. Any further delays beyond the next operation or roster adjustment could ease probabilities, though recent momentum keeps the market tilted toward an affirmative resolution in the coming weeks.
