The New York Liberty enter the 2026 WNBA season as the clear market leader due to their star-laden roster featuring Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, and recent addition Satou Sabally, bolstered by a new head coach in Chris DeMarco and long-term contract stability that supports sustained contention. The Atlanta Dream have surged into second place after acquiring two-time All-Star Angel Reese in an offseason blockbuster and selecting defensive standout Madina Okot in the draft, creating a frontcourt projected to lead the league in rebounding and rim protection while building on their record 30-win 2025 campaign. The Las Vegas Aces remain competitive behind reigning MVP A'ja Wilson and their recent title pedigree, while the Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx sit in the next tier with strong young cores and playoff momentum. Early-season power rankings and preseason projections reflect these roster upgrades and continuity advantages, though injuries such as Ionescu’s ankle issue introduce short-term uncertainty in a league where depth and health often decide championship outcomes.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to named as the champion of WNBA for the 2026 season per the rules of WNBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after November 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the WNBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
