Trader consensus reflects a razor-thin 50.5% implied probability for Spain in this ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 Group 5 best-of-five men's team clash against Bahrain, underscoring the format's potential for underdog upsets despite Spain's ranking edge. Spain kicked off strongly on April 28 with a 3-1 group-stage win over Slovenia, highlighted by anchor Alvaro Robles (WR 67) rallying from behind for a 3-2 decision over top contender Darko Jorgic, boosting momentum after Robles' early round-of-16 exit at last week's WTT Feeder Havirov. Bahrain struggled 0-3 versus Czechia that day, leaning on lower-ranked Rashed Rashed (WR 408) and Mohamed Saleh (WR 537). Lineup confirmations or Robles' fatigue could sway the closely contested odds either way.
