Carlos Alcaraz’s straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic in the 2026 Australian Open final has locked in trader consensus at near-certainty for the Spanish world No. 1. The 22-year-old top seed completed a career Grand Slam on hard courts in Melbourne by rallying from a set down, showcasing superior movement, baseline power, and mental resilience against the 10-time champion. Recent form, including dominant performances through the draw against top seeds like Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the semifinals, reinforced his status as the clear favorite heading into the championship match. While the outcome appears settled, any unforeseen post-event administrative issues or official reversals could theoretically shift resolution, though such developments remain highly improbable given the completed result and verified scoreline.
