The 2026 Eliteserien title race has separated early, with Bodø/Glimt holding a clear lead on 41 points after 17 matches and strong models projecting an 85%+ probability of championship success. This leaves a wide-open battle for runner-up among a deep group of contenders. Viking sits second on 40 points after an extended winning streak, while Tromsø, Lillestrøm, Molde, Brann, Sarpsborg 08, and others remain tightly bunched on points and goal difference. Mid-season form swings, fixture congestion, and the absence of any single dominant challenger have kept implied probabilities clustered near 44% across multiple sides. The competitive balance reflects the league’s typical parity behind the frontrunners, with roster depth and recent results sustaining uncertainty over the remaining schedule.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Norway Eliteserien for the 2026 season per the rules of Norway Eliteserien (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Norway Eliteserien; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
