Real Madrid lead La Liga 2026-27 runner-up markets at 52.5% implied probability thanks to José Mourinho’s return to the Bernabéu and a defensive rebuild featuring Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konaté and Denzel Dumfries, giving the squad depth behind title favorites Barcelona. The Catalan club sit at 35.5% after losing Robert Lewandowski and navigating a transitional window under Hansi Flick, with additions such as Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi offset by ongoing questions over forward options. Atlético Madrid (24.0%) remain competitive under Diego Simeone but trail after Griezmann’s departure and a fourth-place finish last season. The rest of the field sits near 10%, reflecting the established hierarchy among Spain’s traditional top three as the campaign opens.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
