The 2026-27 Premier League runner-up market shows a tightly bunched group of contenders, with implied probabilities ranging from 21% to 30% for the top five sides. Manchester United leads narrowly at 30%, followed closely by Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, reflecting comparable squad depth after an active summer transfer window, similar recent form in the prior campaign, and pre-season uncertainty over injuries, managerial continuity, and fixture congestion. This clustering underscores the league's competitive balance, where small edges in home/away records or key signings can shift outcomes, while mid-table sides trail due to greater gaps in resources and historical consistency.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
