**Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds a commanding lead in the CMA Single of the Year market following its record-shattering performance and the September 10 nominations announcement.** The track logged more than 21 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100—unprecedented for a non-holiday country single—while topping country radio and streaming charts, earning Song of the Summer honors, and sweeping ACM Single and Song of the Year earlier in 2026. Langley’s dual nominations (including for “Be Her”) underscore her dominance, with the song also up for Song and Music Video of the Year. Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” (Toy Story 5) and Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo” offer credible competition through strong Hot 100 peaks and radio traction, yet trail significantly in momentum and industry buzz. Cody Johnson’s “The Fall” rounds out the field. Traders appear to view Langley’s crossover juggernaut and precursor wins as decisive heading into the November 18 ceremony.
