The 2026–27 NB I season remains wide open after the opening matchweeks, with no club establishing a clear edge in clean-sheet volume. Ferencváros, Puskás Akadémia, Győri ETO, Debrecen, and several mid-table sides have each recorded multiple shutouts already, reflecting balanced defensive organization across the league. Early fixtures have produced relatively low-scoring games on average, and squads such as Ferencváros (anchored by experienced goalkeeper Dénes Dibusz) and ETO have shown strong backline cohesion, yet results have been distributed rather than concentrated. With 33 matchdays still ahead and frequent rotation possible due to European commitments for top sides, trader consensus reflects the realistic prospect that any of a dozen teams could finish with the most clean sheets depending on form, injuries, and schedule congestion.
