The 2026 Big 12 receiving touchdowns race remains tightly bunched early in the season because multiple proven pass-catchers and high-upside transfers share similar profiles for volume and red-zone opportunities. Amare Thomas returns to Houston after posting 12 scores in 2025, while Omarion Miller, Wyatt Young, Danny Scudero, and Jordan Dwyer bring strong prior production and new quarterback situations that support comparable scoring upside. Early conference games have not yet produced separation, with receiving touchdowns distributed across several programs and no single player establishing clear dominance through the first two weeks. Preseason all-conference recognition and depth at the position further compress implied probabilities, leaving trader consensus evenly split until sustained form or injuries create differentiation.
