The 2026 Big Ten passing touchdowns race remains wide open early in the season, with a deep pool of experienced quarterbacks and limited separating data after just two or three games per team. Recent standouts such as Indiana’s Josh Hoover (eight touchdowns through two contests) and USC’s Jayden Maiava (ten through three) have boosted their profiles alongside Nebraska’s Anthony Colandrea and holdovers like Ohio State’s Julian Sayin and Oregon’s Dante Moore, whose prior efficiency and supporting casts fueled preseason expectations. However, conference-wide parity in offensive schemes, varying schedule strength, and the potential for injuries or adjustments prevent any clear separation. This balance sustains tight trader consensus across dozens of outcomes until more conference play clarifies trends.
