The 2026 Big Ten rushing yards race remains tightly bunched after early non-conference action because no back has established a sustained edge in volume or efficiency across multiple games. Leaders like Cam Edwards, Kamari Moulton, and King Miller have posted strong per-game outputs, yet most contenders—including Jordan Marshall, Darius Taylor, Waymond Jordan, Bo Jackson, and Jordon Davison—operate in committees or behind evolving offensive lines, with limited conference exposure to separate them. Factors such as upcoming Big Ten schedules, injury resilience, goal-line usage, and team rushing attempts will shape cumulative totals over the remaining slate, keeping implied probabilities clustered as the wisdom of crowds prices in high uncertainty and comparable upside for several established and emerging options.
