The 2026 NFL regular season remains in its opening weeks, leaving the interceptions leader market tightly bunched as multiple defenses post comparable early takeaway production and project similar full-season totals. Teams such as the Bills, Falcons, 49ers, and Commanders enter with strong secondaries and pass-rush units expected to generate pressures that lead to picks, while roster depth, coverage schemes, and opponent passing volume create balanced upside across the league. Week 1 results showed scattered interceptions without any standout defensive dominance, and factors like injury management, scheme adjustments, and schedule strength keep the field competitive rather than consolidating around a single frontrunner. Trader pricing reflects this uncertainty, with implied probabilities clustered because historical patterns and current form offer no decisive edge yet.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team with more passes defended during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the team with fewer total yards allowed per game (total yards allowed divided by games played) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to “Other”.
If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which team led the NFL in interceptions within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
