Both NFC South teams enter Week 2 at 0-1 with comparable projected win totals near 7-8 and home-field advantages in their respective matchups, supporting trader consensus around a split series. Atlanta faces quarterback uncertainty with Tua Tagovailoa sidelined by an oblique injury and Michael Penix Jr. limited by a knee issue, while Carolina’s defense surrendered 59 points and 291 rushing yards in its opener. Bijan Robinson’s workload against a porous Panthers run defense and Bryce Young’s recent production against Atlanta factor into early positioning, though the second game in Week 18 at Carolina and shared divisional challenges keep outcomes tightly bunched.
