Mitch Marner’s record-setting performance has driven overwhelming trader consensus for the Vegas Golden Knights forward to post the highest single-game goal total in the 2026 Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes. Marner erupted for a natural hat trick in just 6:10 of Game 3—the fastest in Final history—while adding an assist for four points in one period, part of a postseason where he leads all skaters with 10 goals and 29 points. This hot streak, combined with Vegas’s offensive opportunities and Marner’s elevated shot volume and playmaking, has positioned him far ahead of the field in implied probability. Carolina contributors such as Jordan Staal, who has scored in five straight Final games, or Nikolaj Ehlers and Logan Stankoven remain longer shots unless they match or exceed three goals in a remaining contest. Late injuries, goaltending adjustments, or a defensive clampdown could still alter outcomes in the high-scoring series.
