In the UEFA Champions League most yellow cards market, the wide-open field stems from the even distribution of disciplinary risks across defensive midfielders and fullbacks who accumulate cards through high tackle volumes and aggressive positioning. Declan Rice leads the trader consensus at 5.1% implied probability thanks to his established role in Arsenal’s high-pressing system and proven card rate in prior European campaigns, while Martín Zubimendi sits nearly level at 5.0% due to his consistent starting minutes and combative style in central midfield. Mikel Merino trails at 1.8%, constrained by rotational usage despite similar tendencies. Differentiators center on total minutes played, defensive duels per match, and historical disciplinary records in knockout stages, where referee variability keeps outcomes fluid.
