Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick's recent earnings call comments have solidified trader consensus against a $100+ launch price for GTA 6, with the executive dismissing rumors and emphasizing a "very reasonable" MSRP far below the game's perceived value, aligning with standard AAA pricing around $70–$80 as seen in recent retailer leaks for the standard edition. This follows months of softened speculation from earlier $100 whispers tied to development costs and premium editions, but historical precedents like GTA V's $60 debut (adjusted for inflation) and no major publisher pushing base-game prices that high reinforce the market-implied 91% "No" probability. While deluxe or collector's editions could exceed $100 with extras like early access or microtransactions, an official pre-order announcement—potentially imminent ahead of the November 19, 2026 release—remains the key catalyst that could shift sentiment if unexpectedly aggressive.
