Regular-season records were middling at 2-3 for both, with Team Liquid holding a 3-1 head-to-head edge over LuneX from their April 4 matchup. LuneX, featuring dual tanks Zeb and cartifan22 alongside DPS xten and xomba, clinched playoffs late via a 3-1 win over Disguised, but struggled against elite rosters. Team Liquid, bolstered by IGL Danny's drafting, showed resilience pushing SSG. The winner advances to face the upper-final loser in double-elimination format, with momentum and map-pool adaptation key in this chaotic NA region.
