The 2026-27 Serie A runner-up market remains tightly bunched because Inter Milan enter as clear title favorites following their recent Scudetto success and squad continuity under Cristian Chivu. This leaves a broad group of clubs—Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Atalanta, Roma, and others—vying for second with comparable implied probabilities. Recent transfer activity, including AC Milan’s high-profile addition of Gonçalo Ramos and managerial shift to Ruben Amorim, has boosted several sides’ depth and attacking options, while Napoli and Juventus benefit from established cores and historical consistency in top-four battles. Pre-season preparations and ongoing roster adjustments underscore the parity, with no single challenger pulling clear ahead of the pack entering the August 22 kickoff.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
