T1 and Dplus KIA lead the Esports World Cup 2026 Korea Qualifier bracket after key upper bracket wins on May 12, with T1 sweeping BNK FEARX 2-0 in Bo3 and Dplus KIA defeating Hanwha Life Esports 2-1, setting up a high-stakes Bo5 upper final on May 25 where the winner secures direct qualification to the EWC main event. Hanwha Life Esports and FEARX now fight in the lower bracket, facing KT Rolster vs BRION and SOOPers vs Nongshim RedForce winners on May 18-19 in Bo3s, needing to win out for the second spot among nine LCK teams excluding defending champion Gen.G. Seeding from LCK Round 1 favors top squads, but double-elimination and Fearless Draft add upset potential amid strong recent form from T1's veteran roster.
