In the Canadian Grand Prix, the market for the driver setting the fastest lap shows a tightly contested field, with Max Verstappen holding a slim edge at 48 percent implied probability while Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Kimi Antonelli, Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri, and George Russell cluster at 47.5 percent each. This close bunching arises from the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve’s demanding layout, where tire degradation, strategic pit stops, and variable grip levels often let multiple frontrunners from Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, and McLaren post the quickest time on fresh rubber during the race’s closing stages. Recent qualifying form and constructor pace trends further support the even odds, as any of these drivers could capitalize on a late safety car or optimal tire strategy to claim the point for fastest lap.
