This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 IIHF World Championship hockey tournament. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026 IIHF World Championship per the rules of the tournament (e.g. they are eliminated in the knockout stages), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 IIHF World Championship is cancelled, postponed after June 14, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the IIHF World Championship tournament organizers (https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2026/wm); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Canada leads the implied probability for the 2026 IIHF World Championship title at 50.5 percent, driven by its roster of NHL veterans and young standouts such as Sidney Crosby and Macklin Celebrini, which gives the team superior depth and experience compared with other nations. Traders have adjusted pricing after Canada's 5-3 opening win over Sweden and strong preliminary-round form, while Switzerland and Finland sit tied at 15.5 percent on the strength of consistent recent medal finishes and home-ice support for the Swiss in Zurich and Fribourg. Sweden and the United States trail at 8.5 percent and 6.5 percent, respectively, reflecting solid but less dominant lineups amid a crowded field where roster health and early results continue to shape sentiment.
